HB 1148/SB 177Board of Veterinary Medical Examiner Powers: Amends Titles 15 (Agriculture & Animals), 23 (Business & Other Associations), 24 (Trade Regulation), 25 (Professions & Occupations) and 35 (Criminal Law & Procedure) of Indiana Code to provide certain powers to the IN Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and to establish the Center for Animal Policy.  ENACTED
HB 1160Statewide Retail Pet Sale Ban: Amends Title 15 (Agriculture & Animals), Article 20 (Animal Control) of Indiana Code by adding a new Chapter 5 (Sale of Dogs or Cats in Retail Pet Stores) to restrict the retail sale of dogs or cats in pet stores.  DIED IN COMMITTEE

HB 1370Domestic Violence Registry/Animal Cruelty: Amends Title 5 (State & Local Administration), Article 2 Law Enforcement of Indiana Code by adding a new Chapter 24 (Domestic Violence Registry) to establish a domestic violence registry that contains a record of individuals convicted of a crime of domestic violence (includes animal cruelty) and individuals who are the subject of a protective order.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
ORD 1853Local Retail Pet Sale Ban Ordinance: Ordinance No. 1853 amends Chapter 6 (Animals) of Munster, IN Code by adding a new Section 6-11 (Prohibition on the Retail Sale of Dogs or Cats by Pet Shops) to prohibit the retail sale of dogs and cats by town pet shops.  ADOPTED
ORD 2022002Local Retail Pet Sale Ban Ordinance: Amends Whiting, IN Municipal Code by adding a new chapter to prohibit the retail sale of dogs and cats in town pet stores.  ADOPTED
ORD 1979Local Retail Pet Sale Ban Ordinance: Ordinance No. 1979 amends Schererville, IN Zoning Ordinance No. 1797 to restrict the retail sale of dogs and cats by town pet shops.  ADOPTED
