HB 530  Purebred Dog Day: Amends Title 1 (General Provisions), Chapter 4 (Holidays & Observances) of the Official Code of Georgia by adding a new section so as to designate a Purebred Dog Day in Georgia.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
HB 609  Animal Rescue Regulation: Amends Title 4 (Animals), Chapter 11 (Animal Protection), Article 1 (General Provisions), Sections 2 (Definitions) and 10 (Unlawful Acts by Licensed Persons) of the Code of Georgia to: 1) Define “animal rescue organization”; and 2) Prohibit the marketing of certain domestic animals at certain locations.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
HB 1450  Georgia Safe Outdoor Dog Act: Amends Title 4 (Animals), Chapter 8 (Dogs) of the Official Code of GA Annotated by adding a new Article 3 (Georgia Safe Outdoor Dog Act) to provide standards of care for dogs kept outdoors.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
HB 1451  African Pygmy Hedgehog Permit Exemption: Amends Title 27 (Game & Fish), Chapter 5 (Wild Animals), Section 5 (Wild animals for which license or permit required) of Georgia Code so as to exempt the African pygmy hedgehog from wild animal license and permit requirements, if certain conditions are met.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
SB 303  Commercial Dog Breeder Standards: Amends Title 4 (Animals), Chapter 8 (Dogs), Article 1 (General Provisions) of the Official Code of GA Annotated by adding a new Section 4-8-8 so as to provide for standards for commercial dog breeders.  DIED IN COMMITTEE
ORD 2022001  County Retail Pet Sale Ban Ordinance: Proposed ordinance to amend the Forsyth County, GA Code of Ordinances to prohibit the retail sale of dogs or cats in the county.  IN DRAFTING STAGE
