Pet Advocacy Network Launches Grassroots Advocacy Program
“Network of Advocates” Will Amplify Voice of Pet Community, Empower Advocates
Alexandria, Va. – Today, the Pet Advocacy Network (PAN) announced the upcoming launch of a new grassroots advocacy program for those who work in and support the pet industry: The Network of Advocates.
Going live in March, the Network will be a free platform for members of the pet care community to learn about important industry policy issues, improve their advocacy skillset, contact legislators, provide testimonials, and connect with a growing community. Those who join the Network will receive an advocacy toolkit and regular updates from PAN’s team of experts. Advocates will also have access to a special social media badge to help get the word out and highlight their commitment to protecting the pet care community (pictured).
“The pet care community has thousands of knowledgeable people from business owners to caregivers to veterinarians,” said Mike Bober, CEO of the Pet Advocacy Network. “But much of the conversation has been dominated by activists outside the industry. The Network of Advocates is a platform where we can tell our story and share all we do to support and promote the human-animal bond.”
The group will celebrate the launch with a happy hour reception on Thursday, March 27 from 4 – 5 p.m. ET in the Aquatics Lounge at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida.
