Ready to make a difference for pets and the people who care for them? Join us in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, for the 8th Annual Pet Care Community Fly-In.

Connect with fellow pet care professionals, engage with lawmakers, and advocate for policies that support pets. Everyone within the responsible pet care community is encouraged to attend. Your passion is all that’s needed!

As a fly-in participant, besides taking part in direct conversations with legislators and their staff, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about and share up-to-date scientific facts and research on the positive impacts of pets, as well as how pets are an economic force in our country. This is your opportunity to get your priorities heard by lawmakers as well as connect with government officials and other pet professionals.

During the 2024 fly-in, nearly 100 participants held over 120 meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. We do all the work putting you together with other participants in a group, setting up the meetings and providing talking points on a few key pet-related issues. There is a morning breakfast briefing to meet up with your group and featuring a special guest speaker, and lunch is also provided.

In the evening, you can attend Pet Night on Capitol Hill, an annual celebration of the power of pets hosted by the Human Animal Bond Research Institute, the Pet Food Institute, and the Pet Advocacy Network.

There is no cost to participate in the fly-in; however, attendees must cover their transportation and accommodations.
