The first few months of a new legislative session are always busy, but this year has blown them all away. With major changes happening at the federal, state, and local levels on a daily basis, advocacy has never been more important. What are some of the trends that have emerged in legislation, regulations, and international negotiations, and what can we do to advance pet-positive policies in this uncertain environment?
In this panel discussion, representatives from the Pet Advocacy Network and the American Pet Products Association will talk about some of the most impactful developments we’ve seen so far this year and discuss what they’re doing to protect and promote the pet care community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to weigh in on threats facing the entire pet care community with questions and feedback as we all work to strengthen our advocacy efforts together.
