HB 63“Working Animal Protection Act”: Amends Title 15 (Cities and Towns), Chapter 1 (General Provisions) and Title 15 (Counties), Chapter 2 (Corporate Powers and Duties) by adding new sections to prohibit counties, cities, and towns from enacting or enforcing policies that terminate, ban, or unduly restrict the use of working animals in lawful commerce or animal enterprises.  DIED IN COMMITTEE (SESSION ADJOURNED)
SB 147“Service Animal”/”Assistance Animal” Definition – Penalties: Amends Title 35 (Public Health & Safety), Chapter 13 (Facilities in Public Buildings for Physically Handicapped), Article 2 (Protection and Rights of Blind and Disabled Persons), Section 35-13-205 (Definitions) and 36-13-206 (Injuring or killing a service or assistance animal prohibited; penalties) of Wyoming Statutes to: (1) Specify that  the rights and obligations applicable to service and assistance animals apply to service and assistance animals that are being trained; and (2) Increase penalties related to injuring or killing a service or assistance animal.  ENACTED (EFFECTIVE ON 7/1/25)
