Meet the Pets 2023 Brings Furry Stress Relief Back to Capitol Hill
On April 26, 2023, Pet Advocacy Network teamed up with Pet Partners, the nation’s leading organization in registering therapy animals for animal-assisted interventions, and the Pet Food Institute to offer Members of Congress and their staff a break from the stress of a busy session and an opportunity to experience the human-animal bond with therapy animals. Over 500 people involved in federal policymaking interacted with the therapy teams and learned about the physical and mental health benefits of animal companionship.
